Project management teams (PMTs) operating in the United States and the Americas support large-scale investments by Saudi Aramco in its operations in Saudi Arabia. A range of ASC services are provided, including technical reviews; ongoing assessment on engineering, design and construction; project management expertise; and contracts administration.
PMTs in the Americas
PMT activity in the Americas includes a joint venture with The Dow Chemical Company called Sadara, which will result in the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. The facility will be located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
Also underway in North America is a project for the power generation component of the new Jazan Refinery complex, which is being built on the Red Sea coast, and a joint venture with China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) for a new full-conversion refinery on the Yanbu site. Other active PMTs are in support of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, a state-of-the-art museum, library and cultural center in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, a graduate-level research university in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia.
