Aramco Services Company (ASC) offers a generous employee benefits package and other programs designed to meet the diverse needs of employees and families.

Benefits

  • Flexible Benefit Plan
    The Flexible Benefit Plan allows employees to make premium payments for their medical, dental and optional accidental death or dismemberment insurance coverage on a pre-tax basis.
  • Group Insurance Plan
    The company provides both company-paid life insurance and accidental death or dismemberment insurance.
  • Medical Payment Plan
    Medical coverage is available for employees who elect to participate in the Plan and for their eligible covered dependents.
  • Dental Insurance
    Aramco Services Company currently offers employees a choice between four employee pay-all premium dental plans.
  • Retirement Income Plan
    The company pays the entire cost of The Retirement Income Plan which provides monthly annuity payments or a lump sum distribution when the employee retires. Employees become eligible for participation in the Plan on their hire date and become vested upon completing 5 years of service.
  • The Savings Plan - 401(k)
    To encourage employees to save part of their earnings systematically for their future financial security, new employees are automatically enrolled in The Savings Plan at a rate of 9% unless they select otherwise. The company matches an employee's contribution dollar-for-dollar up to the first 9% of base earnings and employees become vested immediately in the company's contributions.
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Plans
    The company pays the entire cost of both Plans. A new employee automatically becomes a participant in the Plans upon completion of 6 months of continuous service.

Other Employee Programs

In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, Aramco Services Company offers:

  • Holidays
    The company observes up to eight paid holidays each year for employees on the 9/80 work schedule, plus two floating holidays that may be used at the employee's discretion upon eligibility.
  • Vacation
    All employees are eligible for paid vacation from 9 to 23 working days per year based upon their years of continuous service with the company.
  • 9/80 Work Schedule
    The predominant work schedule consists of 80 hours of work over 9 days. Employees work 9 hours per day Monday through Thursday; Fridays alternate between an 8-hour work day and a day off.
  • Awards & Recognition
    Service and attendance milestones are awarded to employees for longevity with the company and consistent daily work attendance. A special recognition program encourages and recognizes exceptional efforts and achievements by individuals and teams by providing various levels of financial rewards.
  • Educational Refund Plan
    Financial assistance is provided to employees pursuing individual degree programs at accredited and approved post-secondary institutions during non-working hours. The company reimburses an employee up to 90% of tuition, required fees and textbook costs according to company policy.
