“Roads of Arabia: Archaeology and History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” will be exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston
December 19, 2013 - March 9, 2014. Saudi Aramco is a principal co-sponsor of the exhibition’s U.S. tour along with the ExxonMobil Corporation.
The exhibition offers American audiences a first-time glimpse into the ancient past of Saudi Arabia, with some recently discovered archaeological finds dating back some 6,000 years ago. More than 300 objects will be on display that collectively tell the story of the vibrant artistic exchange and skilled workmanship that flourished along trade routes throughout the Arabian Peninsula – stretching from Yemen in the south to Iraq, Syria and several Mediterranean regions in the north. For more information about the Roads of Arabia exhibition, visit www.roadsofarabia.com
Support – for cultural programs and initiatives – has been an integral part of Saudi Aramco’s commitment to corporate citizenship for many decades, and the company is proud to be a principal national cosponsor for the Roads of Arabia exhibition.
