The automotive community will learn about Aramco Services Company’s R&D program, including the Aramco Research Center–Detroit and the Saudi Aramco Research & Development Center (R&DC) located in Dhahran, during this year’s SAE World Congress & Exhibition, slated for April 8-10 in Detroit, MI. The conference is the premier venue for shaping the future of the automotive industry.
With the theme “Creating New Possibilities,” the conference will give ASC and Saudi Aramco an opportunity to discuss their work in in engine technologies, fuel design, technology migration and strategic transport research.
Those attending will be Amer Al-Amer, chief technologist in the Research & Development Center/Fuel Technology R&D Division of Saudi Aramco, and David Cleary, Detroit Center Research Leader, as well as others on both their teams.
The Aramco Research Center–Detroit is one of a trio of centers in North America working to expand Saudi Aramco’s global R&D presence. The location of the Detroit Center was specifically chosen for its proximity to leading auto manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The other two ASC-operated centers are located in Boston and Houston.
